We all need loving relationships that are nourishing and sexually satisfying. But all too often we avoid closeness with other people, because we do not know how to approach each other in an open and vulnerable way. We are afraid of being rejected, of opening old wounds from our childhood.
The sensual contact to our vital life-energy and the experience of an innocent pleasure in our own body becomes lost and we often end up trying hard to fulfill our partners' expectations of the "ideal".
The outcome is that we feel disappointed and frustrated, driven by vague longing, which seems to never to be really fulfilled.
